After paying taxes on both continents for decades, Tina finally renounced her American citizenship and became a Swiss citizen in 2013. This decision reflected her deep connection to her life in Europe, where she had lived for decades by that point. She felt that Switzerland was her true home, and she embraced her identity as a European resident.
