Music legend Tina Turner has died at the age of 83. Her publicist said she passed away peacefully at her home in Switzerland following long illness.
Known as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll," she rose to fame in the 1960s partnering with her husband Ike Turner. She later left her abusive marriage and went on to launch her solo career. Turner soon became one of the top recording artists of all time with chart-topping hits like "What's Love Got to Do With It" and 'Private Dancer.'
